Bath Refugee Festival is a community-led programme of arts, culture and community events taking place across Bath during Refugee Week.
From 13–20 June 2026, artists, organisations and community groups will come together to celebrate creativity, share stories and create spaces for connection and learning.
The festival is part of Refugee Week, the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.
This year’s theme is Courage, a chance to reflect on the bravery it takes to rebuild lives, stand up for dignity and solidarity with one another.
Why does Bath Refugee Festival matter? Festival founder Hiba Elhindi reflects on moving to Bath, the importance of belonging, and how a simple idea grew into a city-wide celebration of sanctuary, culture and community.
